Your artwork should contain the main colors used in your room.  It will be the focal point that pulls the colors in the room together.  Using your colors in pillows, art glass, fabrics, rugs, florals, and your art piece should cause your eye to move around your interior giving a feeling of coordination.

Your artwork should not be wider than the furniture below.  The bottom of the piece should be about 8 to 10 inches from the top of the furniture.  If you have several pieces, hang them close enough to each other to relate, but still leave breathing room.  Generally, artwork should be hung from 60 to 65 inches off the floor.
